The Byres was initially converted in the 1950's to form a then state-of-the-art modern dairy for milking
200 cows. Initially, an 18th Century cart-horse stable, with attached buildings in a courtyard configuration,
it still retains many of the stabling features. It forms the third phase of the development at Wicklesham and
was completed in 2005. Unit 1 is a stand-alone, self-contained office suite with open plan accommodation on
two floors, which can be split into two separate offices.
This phase of the development was expanded into a fourth phase to include three stand-alone, self-contained,
office suites in the courtyard configuration. The fourth phase was completed in June 2007. Units 2 and 3 are single storey accommodation with the traditional style of exposed beams and saddle
stones. Unit 4 is a two-storey office with dramatic views over the Vale of the White Horse.
Internal areas range from 60 sq. m. (640 sq. ft.) to 380 sq. m. (4,100 sq. ft.). The offices are fully
networked with car parking assigned immediately in front of the premises.
